Kate Gibb about the tees

.

“When working from other peoples drawings it is hard to steer your creativity into another direction, add your own ’spin’ to it. Taking a character from one of the kids drawings that then almost lives in a new character was something I hadn’t really observed in a Face This t-shirt before. Genius!”

“Love the simple colour banding on this design.. shows the kids drawings off to their full, vibrant potential. Upbeat & eye-catching… Great stuff!”

Marguerite Sauvage about the tees

.

“Wendy did a brilliant mix of her own imaginary and graphic universe with the one from the kids’ drawings, altogether impregnated by the universe of childhood: playtime and mix of imagination and concrete details.”

“Barbara did a joyful, generous, bright design that enhanced the kids drawing with the power of words and typo. Simple, efficient and clever.”

Fatma Genç about the tees

.

“Wendy’s artwork is an all round, perfectly made design for this contest. Foremost I like the sweet monster figure and used colours and lines. It’s as if this figure already exists in my world. She did well by creating a whole story world by just designing this one subject.”

.

“It’s nice to translate a childish style of drawing to a more seriously structured and composited design. Maybe it’s a good way to look at our lives nowadays. We’re still that child inside and should never grow up. Well, now we’re grown up we can buy this shirt and help the kids in Indonesia better.”

Stefan Da Costa Gomez about the tees

.

“A fresh and happy character. A nice add on to the Face This collection. This design immediately caught my eye and made me smile, I’ll bet it will do the same with people passing this shirt on the street.”

.

“Clean, cute and colourful. With a message. Thought this design looks simple, it is cleverly constructed and thought through. It’s message is warm and welcoming. The true spirit of Face This.”
