This wearable art collaboration connects American artist Jared Sylvia with Mia, an 11-year-old student from Indonesia who drew what makes her feel at home: her birthday celebration.Her drawing bursts with balloons, cake, and laughter — pure joy captured in bright colors and bold lines. Jared, known for his vibrant, rhythm-inspired compositions, was instantly drawn to Mia’s festive energy. He reimagined her celebration into a dynamic design full of movement and color — a reminder that home is where there’s something to celebrate, and creativity is the ultimate party.

Meet Jared Sylvia

Jared Sylvia is an American graphic designer, artist and illustrator based in Orlando, Florida. He describes his art style as an “intersection of psychedelia and surrealism”, characterised by bold and colourful patterns. He has done a wide array of collabs with different brands, from music artist Arc de Soleil and the Rose on the River festival, to clothing brand Low Tide Thread Co. and Polycade boutique arcades. Naturally, we had to have him bring his creativity and style to Face This!
